The Journey to “Knowing God in the Quiet”, My First Book Release
We were Created to Know Him and be Known by Him
By the grace and faithfulness of God, I am humbled and overjoyed to share that my very first book, Knowing God in the Quiet, has been published and officially released this weekend.
This book was not birthed from a desire to become an author, nor was it part of a long-term plan. It came from a deeply personal place, during my quiet times with the Lord over the past three years.
In 2022, the Lord impressed upon my heart to begin writing down the insights, instructions, and revelations He was giving me during my personal time with Him. What started as simple journaling out of obedience, has now unfolded into a journey I never expected.
As I continued to write, the Lord began to reveal things in my life that needed to change. There were “good” things (habits) that I had grown comfortable with, but in His loving correction, He showed me that not every good thing is necessarily a “God thing.”
This has been a difficult but liberating truth.
Walking closely with Him has meant learning to release even good things that were not part of His will for me. It meant letting go of my comfort, to embrace the quiet and often hidden, work He was doing within my heart.
Throughout this journey, God has been faithful to provide insight on many areas of life, His Purpose on the earth, His Will, Our purpose in Him, obedience, spiritual warfare and so much more. Some of these reflections I have began sharing here on this platform with you all. But many more deeper lessons, and personal testimonies are included in the book.
Knowing God in the Quiet is an invitation to slow down, to be still, and to intentionally make space for God to speak.
My prayer is that as you read, you will be encouraged to cultivate your own quiet moments with Him and discover how He desires to guide you in ways that will surprise you.
