Hi Friend -
Welcome to Knowing God in the Quiet
I’m Ejiro Obayomi—wife, mom of three, ministry leader, worship leader, management consultant, and someone learning, every day, what it truly means to walk with God.
I started this space as a place to reflect. In 2022, I began journaling the messages the Lord was speaking to me. At first, I believed they were meant just for me—personal reminders, private revelations. But over time, I’ve realized they were never meant to stay hidden. What God gives isn’t just for keeping—it’s for sharing.
This space invites you to pause and listen to what the Father is saying. It’s a place where we step back from the noise, the pressure, the performance—and remember what it means to actually know Him. And in knowing Him, we begin to remember who we really are.
My walk with the Lord shifted in 2022 with one clear and piercing word from the Lord:
“I died for more than what you’ve been living for.”
That moment wrecked me. And it woke me up.
Since then, God has been unraveling old layers, rebuilding foundations, and teaching me how to live by the Spirit—not by habit, not by fear, not by striving. Some days are full of grace and clarity. Many days feel like defeat—not because the Lord wasn’t with me, but because I didn’t follow His clear leading. Still, it’s His mercy and grace that keep me going. His patience is steady, even when I stumble. And that alone gives me the courage to keep walking.
Here on Knowing God in the Quiet, you’ll find:
Spirit-led reflections rooted in scripture
Insights from my personal walk and study
Devotions on identity, abiding, and the Kingdom of God
Encouragement for anyone who feels dry, distracted, or hungry for more of Him
I write from a place of pursuit—not perfection.
If you’re longing to walk with God more deeply, you’re not alone—and you’re in the right place.
With love,
Ejiro
